While there is no stopping the Aditya Dhar’s directorial Dhurandhar breaking all records at the box-office ever since its theatrical release on December 5, 2025,
Sara Arjun as Yalina Jamali has emerged as cynosure of eyes. She played the role of the vile Pakistani politician Jameel Jamali’s (Rakesh Bedi) daughter. She is also all set to make her mark in the Telugu film industry with Gunasekhar’s Euphoria. At a recent event, as she addressed fans in fluent Telugu, she revealed the name of her favourite Tollywood actor.
At the trailer launch of Euphoria, when asked to name her favourite Telugu actor, Sara Arjun said, “There are many, she can’t choose. But right now, she really likes Vijay Deverakonda and also expressed intense gratitude for being able to stand in front of her Telugu audience after a long time. She said, “It feels special to stand in front of herTelugu audience after a long time and admire the way warmth, culture and stories celebrated here. She merely hopes it connects with the audience; it’s a very important story.”
Furthermore, addressing the massive fame following collosal success of Dhurandhar Sara added, she doesn’t look at change per project; but look for it every day and realise it’s a big privilege to pursue this as her profession. She feels a greater sense of responsibility to deliver better, that’s all and doesn’t like to put too much pressure on herself. She will always have it over her shoulders to do better.
She continued, “More than what kind of impact she wants to make, she is at such an early stage that just wants to make an impact. She is going to going to keep her head down and keep working.
Earlier in a conversation Sara Arjun had recalled on her Telugu debut. She had said, she has always been hungry for challenging, extraordinary roles and strong stories. For her that is the most important thing. Everything else comes after. It’s the kind of work that pushes her shapes her, and allows her to grow as an artist.”
“Chronologically, she. actually signed Euphoria before
Dhurandhar was even on her horizon.
Her Telugu film Euphoria, directed Gunasekhar,directorial is slated for theatrical release on February 6. While Dhurandhar 2 will release on March 19.
