Veteran actor Nana Patekar, acknowledged for his punctuality and his deep temperament, exited out of the O Romeo trailer drop infuriatedly and frustration before the event started.
Notedly the trailer and poster drop of the Shahid Kapoor and Tripti Dimri starrer ‘O Romeo’ at CitiMall PVR was supposed to be a celebratory event.
But, Ironically, now it is grabbing attention for an unexpected reason. The 75-year-old actor reached the Mall a mall on January 21 for the in a fit of rage made his exit after a 60-minute wait as his co-stars failed to show up.
According to those present at the venue, Nana Patekar waited for nearly an hour for the programme to begin. But opted not to wait any longer. His exit Choosing not to wait soon turned out to be a talking point.
The poster launch was supposed to take place at 11 am and the trailer drop was scheduled for 12 pm. Nana Patekar, known to be a stickler for time, arrived for the trailer launch at sharp 12 pm and was waiting inside the PVR
The chaos started because the poster launch got delayed. Other actors, including Shahid Kapoor, Tripti Dimri and others arrived late. The poster event went on till 1 pm. Nana Patekar had to sit and wait for almost one hour. He got frustrated and left the venue without attending the full event.
