Atlee opens up on his film with Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone

Atlee’s upcoming directorial with Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22XA6, reportedly has garnered massive buzz ever since its announcement.

With Deepika Padukone now on board, excitement around the project has only escalated. Over an exclusive conversation Atlee shared an update on the film and also called Deepika as his lucky charm.
When asked about the update, Atlee shared how the team is tirelessly working on the film and is as excited to talk about it, but waiting for the right time.

Atlee went on to explain that every day, they are discovering something and he is well aware of how everyone wants to hear about the film. And honestly, more than his audience, he really awaits to tell them everything. They are spending sleepless nights working on it and he is aware it’s no excuse, but they are equally excited and are readying something really big for everyone. And once done, trust everyone will enjoy it to the maximum,.
The filmmaker, overwhelmed to join forces with his Jawan actor, Deepika Padukone, shared his excitement about the project. “Yes, she’s his lucky charm. This is his second film with Deepika, and she’s wonderful to work with. She’s just unbelievable. After motherhood, she’s starting this film, and one will see a very different Deepika for sure

Heavy on technology and VFX, Atlee is said to be helming this giant project to be something as grand as the Avatar franchise. The film would be set in two universes and promises to be a landmark cinematic event, packed with scale, emotion, action, and storytelling rooted in Indian ethos with global appeal.
Besides Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, the AA22XA6 film will also feature Kajol, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Jim Sarbh, among others in pivotal roles.
Earlier, in an exclusive chat Atlee clarified that while he’s looking forward to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan again, Jawan 2 is not on the cards right now. The director shared that while he is excited to collaborate with SRK again, a sequel to Jawan can only happen “maybe after some years” and won’t be their immediate next project.
He also added that they will work together again when an idea comes “organically.” Atlee also laughed off the news of him directing SRK in Don 3, and called the buzz “just a rumour.”
