CM Devendra Fadnavis pitched Maharashtra to High-Level Canadian Delegation in Mumbai reception at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai today. The delegation includes Canada’s Minister of National Revenue François-Philippe Champagne, Premier of New Brunswick Susan Holt, among others.

The CM stated that the visit is viewed as a “carefully choreographed reset”
of relations, intended to move past earlier tensions. Highlighting  Maharashtra’s major achievements in infrastructure, technology education and manufacturing, the Chief Minister invited Canada to continue strengthening ties with India and Maharashtra in the future.

Canada’s Minister of National Revenue François-Philippe Champagne on the occasion highlighted the long-standing history of bilateral relations amid India and Canada and expressed confidence that cooperation would continue to deepen. Premier Susan Holt spoke about collaboration and ties between Maharashtra and New Brunswick.
Industries Secretary P. Anbalagan made a presentation on the state’s industrial policy and ease of doing business initiatives.

Meanwhile, a.short film showcasing Maharashtra’s developmental transformation was screened by the Mitra Institution.
