Salman ventures into new distinct roles:
Plays retiring superhero in Raj & DK Film
Salman Khan is reportedly in advanced talks to headline a new, untitled “high-concept” superhero comedy in Raj & DK’s upcoming project.
The actor is expected to play a weary, retiring superhero grown tired of saving the world and wants to “hang up his cape”. The character is often dragged back into action by circumstances, creating a blend of comedy and action. The film is termed as “quirky” similar in tone to the Hollywood blockbuster Hancock.
Production.
Reportedly, the film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Reel Life Entertainment and expected to mount the sets in November 2026.
Although Salman has evinced interest in the concept, he has instructed the duo to keep the budget under control and is waiting to hear the final script narration, expected in April 2026.Â
This project is expected to be a major shift for Salman Khan, offering a fresh take on the superhero genre rather than a typical, high-VFX origin story.Â
