Fraudster hoodwinks Marathi film actress Varsha Usgaonkar 8of
₹47 lakhs
A Pune-based individual, Avinash Jadhav, masquerading as producer and builder has been booked for a Rs 47 lakh financial fraud against Marathi actress Varsha Usgaonkar to the tune of ₹47 lakhs.
The incident is described as a case where the accused breached the trust of individuals in the Marathi film industry.
Reportedly the accused also cheated others too Mrunalini Jambhale, and three others.
He ensured them of high returns on a fake construction project in Dombivli.
A case has been registered at Shivaji Park Police Station under IPC Sections 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
