Arjun Rampal has reportedly collaborated with Rishab Shetty in his ‘The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Rampal will play a primary antagonist, acting as a direct rival to Shetty’s Shivaji Maharaj in the 2026-27 historical drama. Shefali Shah will also feature as Rajmata Jijabai, with filming kicking-off in late 2026.
The film expected to begin production in the second half of 2026 is expected to feature a stellar technical crew, with music by Pritam and cinematography by Ravi Varman.
This project is positioned as a major Pan-India historical drama focusing on the life of the Maratha warrior king, marking a high-profile showdown between Rampal and Shetty.
