Recent reports reveal that director Aditya Dhar is being showered with immense praise for his latest directorial venture, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, with legendary actor Rajinikanth (Thalaiva) famously calling him the
“box office ka baap” (father of
box office).
The spy-action thriller, featuring Ranveer Singh, shattered records by grossing over ₹700 crore worldwide in its opening weekend, following a massive opening day of over ₹100 crore.
Rajinikanth praised the film as a “must-watch for every Indian” and expressed his admiration for the film’s success, calling Aditya Dhar the ‘king of the box office’ in a viral post.
While responding Aditya Dhar’s described the compliment as the “biggest superstar moment” of his life, stating it was “a blessing from the very person who taught us all to dream bigger”.
