In the 2023 Anil Sharma ‘s blockbuster Gadar 2, the character Manish Wadhwa who served as the primary antagonist Major General Hamid Iqbal overshadowed Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and “overshadowed” him in terms of intense, villainous presence.
As the head of the Pakistan Army, Manish Wadhwa’s Hamid Iqbal brought significant conflict and drama to the film. His performance was described as powerful and unforgettable, often lauded for its ruthless portrayal and “husky/heavy” voice, which created an intense rivalry with Sunny Deol’s character.
