It was amidst the promotions of the 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike, where Aditya made his directorial debut and Yami played the role of an undercover RAW agent that that the love story of Aditya Dhar and Yamini Gautam blossomed.
Although they first met on the set, their bond developed into a camaraderie amidst the promotions of the film and not ‘Love at First Sight’. Yami described their bond as a natural progression from camaraderie , rooted in mutual respect, shared values, and a similar work-life approach.
Yami recalled a touching moment during the shoot when Aditya offered his director’s chair to her, which made a lasting impression of his kindness.
Marriage: The couple kept their relationship private and tied the knot on June 4, 2021, in an intimate ceremony in Himachal Pradesh.
They welcomed their first child, a son named Vedavid, in May 2024.
