For the first time in history
Rupee crosses 95
Modi is guaranteed – there will be a century
Congress says – Dollar was ₹85.54 a year ago. Imagine a foreign investor brought in $1000 and invested in NIFTY.
NIFTY was at 23,519 then. Today it’s at 22,819, a -2.97% loss in rupee terms.
Now the dollar is at ₹95.04.
But here’s the real hit: that $1000 investment is now worth just $873. That’s a -12.7% loss in dollar terms in one year, driven largely by rupee depreciation.
Do you need any more reasons why Foreign Investors are fleeing India?
