No doubt SS Rajamouli’s directorial RRR is a film that deserves all the awards and rewards. And this is one Indian Film to win such massive craze abroad. The film will be completing a year since its theatrical release in India.
Ahead of the Oscars 2023, the past week saw the film get the biggest ever screening in Los Angeles. Rajamouli is in
Los Angeles for the screening of RRR at the Ace Hotel on March 1st where more than 1400 people attended with great excitement. The 1647-seater venue was sold out and long lines could be seen outside the theatre.
The screening was held days before the 95th Academy Awards where RRR has been nominated under the ‘Best Song’ category for the much-loved ‘Naatu Naatu’. Earlier this year the song won the Golden Globe Award. At the screening in LA, fans were seen cheering and hooting when the song was played.
Sea of fans welcomed Mega Power Star Ram Charan at the screening. From the Indian diaspora to foreign fans, there was hooting for the global star Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli, and team from across the auditorium.
RRR recently bagged multiple awards at the Hollywood Critics Association. The film has been re-released in nearly 300 theatres in the USA.
Along with the global star,
SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, SS Karthikeya and DOP Senthil Kumar were present at the screening and all of them received a standing ovation
