Rakesh Roshan quashes all rumours of Sidharth Anand helming “Krrish 4”
Actor-turned-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan gave his son Hrithik Roshan a perfect launchpad for ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hain’ opposite another newcomer Ameesha Patel and made him a Star.
He embodied Hrithik’s charm, elegance, graceful dances and acting potential in the first movie itself. Following the blockbuster success of
“Kaho Na Pyar Hai” Rakesh Roshan repeated Hrithik in
‘Koi Mil Gaya, ‘Krish’ and ‘Krish 3’
“Krrish 3 was the first superhero franchise in India and one of the most successful one too. But it arrived a decade back and yet people are waiting for its next part. A few years ago, plans were afoot by the Senior Roshan for the next film but unfortunately Rakesh Roshan was diagnosed for cancer which stalled the plans of ‘Krrish 4’ launch.
Many believe that it is something great to survive a disease like cancer and directing a movie after that is termed impossible. Making a movie like ‘Krrish 4’ needed a lot of patience, vision, energy and determination. With Rakesh Roshan facing health issues, many assumed of “Krrish 4”
getting shelved. Speculations were rif that the much-awaited movie though will see the light of day, will not be directed by Rakesh Roshan but by another director.
Rumours were also doing the rounds that Siddharth Anand who directed Hrithik in ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War’ with Hrithik already and currently directing ‘Fighter’ with the ‘Dhoom 2’ hero is expected to direct Hrithik in “Krrish” 4. Nevertheless, Rakesh denies all such rumours publicly and claimed that only he will direct ‘Krrish 4’ with Hrithik Roshan. He added that the official announcement will come out once the script work is done. One has to appreciate the strength and willpower of Rakesh Roshan to want to make such a huge project at this age and health issues.
