After winning appreciations for her exceptional performance in
‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’
adapted from a true story of Sagarika Chakraborty, whose children were taken away from them by the Norwegian Childcare System (Barnevernet) in 2011, Rani Mukerji has now locked her next project helmed by Choreographer actor Vaibhavi Merchant.

As per news portal, this small budget movie will be backed by Rani’s husband, Aditya Chopra’s production house Yash Raj Films.

For the unversed, Rani and the actor-choreographer Vaibhavi have been friends since decades and have collaborated over several projects in the past.

Speaking about the movie, Rani shared, that the film reverberates with one emotion which is the mother’s emotion. This movie is a reminder to all children in the world that there’s no greater emotion or relationship than with a mother.

As a mother, she couldn’t place herself in Sagarika’s shoes because it is a painful thought to get separated from your child.
