TV Film Actor and Anupama fame Nitesh Pandey passes away of cardiac arrest in Igatpuri

A setback to the Television Industry and Bollywood in the sad demise of actor Nitesh Pandey on Tuesday night due to a heart attack. He was 51.

Nitesh rose to become an household name with his portrayal of the role of Rupali Ganguly’s friend Devika’s husband in the popular show ‘Anupama’. The unit members are feeling the loss to a large extent.

Sources reveal that Nitish had gone to Igatpuri for a shoot. He suffered a heart attack there around half past midnight.

Nitesh has appeared in many Hindi films and TV shows. He had also played the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s assistant in the film ‘Om Shanti Om’. Apart he has also acted in films like ‘Badhai Do’, ‘Rangoon’, ‘Hunter’, ‘Dabangg 2’, ‘Baaji’, ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’, ‘Madari’ and ‘Khosa Ka Ghosla’ and even essayed an important role in the Disha Parmar and Nakul Mehta starrer show ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaar’.TV shows including Astitva… Ek Prem Kahani, Manzilein Apani Apani, Saaya, Durgesh Nandini, Justajoo, and most recently, Anupamaa.

Pandey was a familiar face in the television and film industry, starting his career as a theatre actor in the 90s and later appearing in various TV shows including Astitva.

Nitesh’s death was confirmed by his brother-in-law Siddharth Nagar

As per Siddharth Nitesh was recognized for his vibrant personality and there was no known history of heart ailments. His cardiac arrest was sudden.

Pandey was a familiar face in the television and film industry, starting his career as a theatre actor in the 90s.

A Police team is present at the hotel where he was put up and an investigation is underway. A postmortem report is awaited while the questioning of hotel staff and people close to him is being done.
