Devendra Fadnavis takes on Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray over rampant corruption
The Dy.CM alleged that in 1978, Sharad Pawar walked out of Vasantdada Patil-led Congress government and joined hands with Opposition to form the Progressive Democratic Front government in Maharashtra.
When Pawar raised the banner of revolt, it was perceived as a strategy.
But when similar politics is pursued by Eknath Shinde, it is being questioned and termed as an act of betrayal.
What kind of double-standard is this?
“The Maha Vikas Aghadi government led by Uddhav Thackeray had indulged jn rampant corruption. They stalled public welfare projects. The CM never stepped outside his home. Today, opposition parties have the audacity to question Shiv Sena and BJP coalition which is working 24×7 for people.
These were the observations made by the Maharashtra Dy.CM Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday 25 June at a function at Chandrapur in Vidarbha
Fadnavis went on to add that when he said the opposition front at Patna was parivar bachao, Thackeray was angry and he attacked him.
