Actor Rajat Bedi moves to Canada after his role got axed at editing table
Actor Rajat Bedi was Known as
the paradigmatic villain in films. The actor was heaped with praises for portraying the role of the bully Raj Saxena in the Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan directorial “Koi Mil Gaya” (the first part of the superhero franchise Krrish).
Although he received appreciation from the audience Rajat Bedi recently confessed that he had shot several scenes with the leading actors Hrithik as well as Preity Zinta but, ironically, the same were axed when the film released.

In an outspoken media interaction, Rajat Bedi opened up on shooting for Koi Mil Gaya mentioning that notwithstanding the thumping success of the film, it did not impact on his career. He left for Canada at a point where he was feeling frustrated with his work in the industry. Films worked, there was no bigger hit than Koi Mil Gaya but it did not benefit him in any manner.
Further he also opened up on how many of his portions got
axed in the final edit, adding, “because even though he had done a lot of work in that film, his track with Preity Zinta, and Hrithik’s track with her were axed. But when the final edit appeared his rack was cut.
Rajat’s biggest disappointment was that when the film released, he was completely cut out from the promotions of the film. As an actor you have certain expectations.
Rajat Bedi, who has done over 50 films, also revealed that it was getting increasingly frustrating for him to build a career in the industry and facing issues like bouncing cheques, or getting edited out, which eventually pushed him to consciously take this step of relocating to Canada.
On the work front, Rajat Bedi has also done films like the Salman Khan, Govinda starrer Partner, Aksar, Rakht, Indian, Maa Tujhe Salaam, among others.
