NCP Chief Sharad Pawar reaches out to Nawab Malik through phone call for inquiry into his health condition

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar reached out to Nawab Malik through a phone call following the interim bail granted to the former Maharashtra Minister and NCP Leader by the Supreme Court for 2 months on medical grounds in a money laundering case.

However, the phone call added another layer to the political intrigue.

Sources reveal that phone call was for an inquiry into Nawab Malik’s health, which has been a matter of concern for the past year and a half and not merely a political gesture. This call and gesture comes amidst the upheaval within the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

Sources further add that during their call, Nawab Malik told Sharad Pawar that his primary focus at present was his health.
