Netflix, YRF collaborate on a multi-year creative partnership, banners announce Aamir Khan’s son Junaid’s debut project

News comes from the Yash Raj Film production house on their collaboration with OTT Giant Netflix and Yash Raj Films for a multi-year creative partnership deal.
As per an official statement, the two entities have partnered to create films and series to showcase defining stories to audiences in India and across the world.
Notedly, Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s debut film ‘Maharaj’ will be released under Netflix-YRF’s partnership.
‘Maharaj’ also features Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari and Shalini Pandey. Hichki fame Siddharth P. Malhotra will helm the project touted to have been inspired by true events. Interestingly, Hichki was the last film of Siddharth Malhotra. Another project to emerge out of this partnership is the character-driver thriller,
‘The Railway Men’, a four-part series starring R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyendu Sharma and Babil Khan, which will be helmed by debutant director Shiv Rawail.
‘The Railway Men’ show centres around on the deadly gas leak in the central Indian city of Bhopal. A cloud of toxic gas leaks from a pesticide plant, on the night of 2nd December 1984, in the city of Bhopal that injured and claimed thousands of lives. This is the untold story of the unsung heroes, who rose to the occasion that night to save the city and its people. This is the story of their courage, their sense of duty and their humanity.
