In a bid to avert clash with Salman Khan’s “Tiger 3” actor-filmmaker Manjrekar has postponed the release of his Akshay Kumar’s debut Marathi Film Veer Daudale Saat and will not clash with Salman Khan’s Diwali release of “Tiger 3”.
Notedly, Akshay Kumar essays the role as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the epic period drama. Mahesh Manjrekar will however make an announcement soon of the film’s theatrical release.
As per close source to Mahesh Manjrekar, he expects huge crowd in Maharashtra and that won’t be possible in a clash scenario.
The source shared that director Mahesh and his technical team needs more time to complete shooting for the film to provide a world-class experience celebrating the heroic win of the Maratha Troops. The war sequences are taking longer than expected and the team doesn’t wish to come with a half-baked product.
With this, Tiger 3 will now get an uninterrupted release during the Diwali period in most of the markets. The the source further shared the that the Maneesh Sharma directorial is part of YRF Spy Universe.
