Recently she hit the headlines for making the nation proud with her prestigious win at the 51st International Emmys, held in New York where she was honoured with the Directorate Award at the ceremony, which added yet another milestone to her career

Although her prestigious win has made the entire nation proud as she became the only Indian female filmmaker to be awarded this honor, the filmmaker is heaped with praises and love from industry celebrities, and one of them is AR Rahman.

Taking to his social media handle he not only congratulated Ektaa R. Kapoor on her global victory but also heaped praises on her speech, which she delivered in the midst of the award ceremony while receiving the honor. The music composer wrote on social media, saying,
