News comes to the fore that Global actress Priyanka Chopra’s cousin, actress Meera Chopra, gears up enter marital bliss in March.
In her recent media interaction Meera on the wedding scheduled to be held in March.
Although keeping details on the groom under wraps, Meera simply mentioned, that he is a boy and further went on to reveal that it will be a “classic, typical, Hindu” ceremony and that there won’t be any functions in Mumbai, but plans are afoot to have everyone attend the celebration in Rajasthan.
When quizzed on inviting Priyanka Chopra and her husband, singer Nick Jonas, to the wedding, Meera stated that no doubt about it, they will be invited. They will come if they are free.
For the unversed, Meera Chopra is the daughter of Sudesh Chopra, cousin of Priyanka Chopra’s father, late Ashok Chopra.
Not much long ago, Meera Chopra opened up on her journey in Bollywood.
In the midst of her media interaction, Meera shared, that the only time when she came to Bollywood there was a buzz that Priyanka Chopra’s sister is also coming but honestly, she has not faced many comparisons. She has not got any work because of Priyanka. If she needed a producer, they have not cast her as she is her sister. Honestly, being related to her has not helped her in her career but it has really helped her in a way that people did take her seriously.
Meera also further went on to add that hey did not take her for granted as they knew she was coming from a family who knew cinema. That is the only privilege she got. Otherwise, she had to struggle.
On the work front, Meera Chopra was last seen in the Zee5 film “Safed”..She shared screen space with Barkha Bisht, Chhaya Kadam and Jameel Khan. Before that, the actress starred in Ajay Bahl’s Section 375.
