Nora Fatehi participated in the ‘Water’ trend on the family show Dance Plus Pro 7. The video is earning a lot of flak from netizens who deem it ‘vulgar’
Nora earned widespread name and fame, particularly following her performance in the 2018 blockbuster music video Dilbar, which surpassed a billion views on YouTube. She has also appeared in films Bharat, Stree, Batla House, Roar, and many more.
Her dance movies are indeed legendary; perhaps that”s precisely the reason for her invite to Dance Plus Pro recently, a family and kids shows.
Apart from acting, Nora also served as a judge on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10. However, Nora recently faced backlash for a dance performance on the reality show Dance Plus Pro, which some deemed ‘vulgar.’
A viral video captured her dancing, splashing water on her body, and pouring water from a bottle in a slow-motion segment. The moves were part of the viral ‘water trend’ which originated on TikTok and made its way to Instagram. The trend was part of the singer Tyla’s song ‘Water’. The moves gained immense popularity online.
However, Nora’s performance stunned both judges and contestants. The video is circulating widely on social media, eliciting criticism from audience members for allowing it to be aired on a kid’s dance show.
On the work front Nora Fatehi is gears up to make her foray into the Kannada film industry. As per a statement, Nora has signed a two-film deal with KVN Productions.
The inaugural project titled
KD – The Devil, will feature a dance number that will highlight Nora’s dancing prowess. Sanjay Dutt is set to join the foot-tapping song. The film is being helmed by Prem.
Prem added that having Nora on board, she comes in with a lot of dedication and focus for the job at-hand. He has tremendous faith in this global sensation and believe that this unique addition will elevate the film to new heights.
Nora is extremely excited about her Kannada projects. She is thrilled to be a part of the vibrant Kannada film industry. This association is an exciting opportunity to connect with a new audience and explore the different aspects of the storytelling tradition in Karnataka. She shared that she can’t wait for the audience to see what they have in store for them.
Meanwhile, Nora is all set for the release of ‘Crakk,’ which is scheduled to be released on 23 February 2024. In the film, she shares the screen space with Vidyut Jammwal.
