Amitabh Bachchan reminisces Veteran actor Pran on his 104th Birth Anniversary

Today, 13 February, is Hindi Cinema’s veteran actor Pran Sikand’s 104th birth anniversary

B’town’s Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan who worked with Pran as a cop in the Prakash Mehra directorial “Zanjeer” that catapulted him to stardom, and was tagged as ‘Angry Young Man’, reminiscences the veteran actor on his 104th birth anniversary.

Notedly, it was Pran Sahab who recommended Amitabh to the veteran filmmaker Prakash Mehra for Zanjeer and helped Amitabh Bachchan to achieve stardom.

Amitabh has himself revealed that Pran was responsible for what he is today.

Pran had earned a distinguished identity for his dialogue delivery with gaps. He was recognized as a powerhouse performer for his impressive screen presence and impeccable dialogue delivery. Though he is loved as a versatile actor, he went on to emerge one of the greatest villains that the Indian Cine industry had ever witnessed.

He is otherwise also known as the villain of the millennium.
