Blockbuster film director-duo Abbas-Mustan don’t have script for Shah Rukh Khan
Celebrated Director-duo Abbas-Mustan are acknowledged for their paradigmatic films Baazigar and Baadshah with Shah Rukh Khan and which were blockbusters.
Now with speculations rife whether the trio will team up again to deliver another blockbuster film with Shah Rukh Khan, the director duo in a recent media interaction shared
visions into their ongoing attempts to make this much-anticipated association a reality.
Abbas-Mustan reveal that even as Shah Rukh Khan has always been enquiring over ‘exciting’ stories as of now, they don’t have a script for Shah Rukh Khan.
The director-duo further reveal that Shah Rukh Khan is still the same person and treats them with respect whenever they visit his abode ‘Mannat’.
For those unversed, the director duo collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan for Baazigar and Baadshah. While fans of the actor await the next collaboration of the trio, Abbas-Mustan have revealed that they are trying their best to make it happen. However, they revealed their major obstacle and said that there are no ‘interesting’ scripts for the actor.
In an interview the director duo articulated that they had many meetings with Shah Rukh Khan and even today when they meet Shah Rukh or go to his house, he still meets them with much respect and spares time for them. He never made them feel that he is not the old Shah Rukh Khan. Nevertheless, they will certainly do a film with him, definitely – why not?. But, ironically, they don’t have a script for him.
They further added that whenever they meet Shah Rukh Khan, he asks them “Kuch laaye ho? (Have you brought anything exciting?” They continued,they haven’t received anything that might be new to him.
They don’t have any script written exclusively for Shah Rukh Khan. Moreover, he is an expert. He can play any characters. Inshallah, if at all, they get, they will obviously work with him.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan recently gave an update over his next film and in a recent interview he revealed just he just felt he can rest a little.
The B’town’s actor continued, that fortunately, he is shooting in August or early July.
