Bhumi Pednekar recalls how she emerged as fashionista

Bollywood’s most popular actress and a social media sensation Bhumi Pednekar recently shared how she took to fashion as a form of self-discovery.

She recalled that in the midst of growing up, she struggled with feeling confident, especially because of the pressure to fit into certain beauty ideals.

Conceding that essaying the character of a small-town woman in some of her films has given her a girl-next-door image, Bhumi adds that her fashion turn is to shatter that perception and show people who she really is and how she wishes to be seen.

She further recalled, she is an young and a confident Indian woman expressing herself through fashion and she is enjoying the love that her looks are getting!
