Jitendra Awhad: Mhada did more work in 8 months than BJP Govt did in 5 years, collected Rs 1500 crores

Housing Minister Dr Jitendra Awhad said, ” Mhada did more work in 8 months what BJP did in 5 years.”

He said, “I am happy to say that the hard work put in by my colleagues, officials and the trust placed in us by Janata Janardhana has reaffirmed the credibility of the general public about MHADA.”
MHADA is currently working very fast and in comparison, in the 23 months between 2017 and 2019, Rs 585 crore was collected from various projects.
In just 8 months from 14.01.2021 to 19.08.2021, About Rs 1,500 crore has been collected from 355 projects. The various projects being implemented by SRA will benefit.

In 2018-19, 10,819 people benefited from the LOI (letter of intent), which we managed to do to 92,000 people in just one and a half years.

One thing that stands out from the above figures is that,
MHADA and SRA are working hard together. This proves the capacity and capability of my officers, colleagues and my account as a whole.

Due to the hard work taken by the officers of MHADA and SRA and they showed in the work

In the last 8 months, MHADA has done three times more work than the previous government did in 5 years.

Dr Jitendra Awhad added , “Along with MHADA, the SRA department is also working at a very fast pace.
