Farah Khan got sentimental
and recollected that when she was choreographing for Hrithik Roshan’s debut film, Kaho Na..Pyaar Hai, the actor didn’t utter a word on his dancing prowess, and later bewildered everyone.
Undoubtedly, in the Hindi Cinema, few actors both male and female have enthralled the audiences with their delicate-as-a-petal dance moves like Hrithik Roshan.
With his debut in his father Rakesh Roshan’s directorial Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Hrithik not only won the hearts with his acting but also bemused with his entrancing dance prowess.
Ace Choreographer-director Farah Khan, was a dance director on the film, recently recalled an exceptional moment that marked the embarkment of Hrithik’s journey to emerge as a dance icon. His ability to uncomplicatedly
blend into any choreography while adding his unique touch has made him one of the finest dancers in Indian cinema.

recalled that Hrithik Roshan never revealed to her or her team that he was such a professional dancer She added, that he was very quiet and we were practising to a normal song Sitaron Ki Mehfil.
It was amidst a routine break from rehearsals that Farah Khan and her team decided to play a playful prank on the unsuspecting newcomer. They were getting bored, so she told her assistant, Pappu, to choreograph the most difficult steps and ask Hrithik to perform them,” Farah chuckled. Hrithik was supposed to do it initially because she was shooting Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, and saw him give his first shot and knew that he was going to be a star. She went to Rakesh Roshan and told him that. She continued around she told Hrithik that she had written a script and that he would be the young boy to which he was very excited. He said, ‘Shah Rukh will (work) with me?’ I said, ‘Of course.’ That was the (dynamic). And then, obviously, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai was released, Hrithik became a huge star, and the rest is history…”
Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan were both acutely aware of their standing in the film industry, and the tension was felt on the set of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, for which Hrithik was signed before his big debut.
