Mumbai’s famous Haji Ali Dargah gets bomb threat on call
Alarmingly off late the financial hub has been receiving bomb alert, though nothing happened thereafter.
On Thursday, 26, September, Mumbai’s oldest and most famous place of worship of the minority community, received a bomb threat call.
The caller claimed to have placed a bomb inside the dargah and threatened to blow it up
The call was received at the office of the Haji Ali Dargah Trust around
5 pm and the caller claimed to have placed a bomb inside the dargah and threatened to blow it up.
Initial reports reveal that the caller introduced himself as Pawan and used abusive language and made controversial statements on the Haji Ali Dargah and also claimed that the Dargah land is owned by him
The caller also threatened to shoot and kill those who try to intervene. He even made some comments to hurt the sentiments of a community.
Reportedly, the bomb squad team arrived at the dargah and an investigation was launched but nothing suspicious was found on the mosque premises.
In a statement, Mumbai police said that “Tardeo PS registered a case against the unknown person and a probe is on.
