Amid IIFA 2024 to kick-off this place this week end,, Shah Rukh Khan is returning to hosting duties after many years and will have his close friend, filmmaker Karan Johar by his side on stage on the big
star-studded night.
While fans are eager to watch what he and performers Rekha, Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal have in store, they are also revisiting several iconic moments from the past ceremonies.
One of which it the famous Kajra Re performance by Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan.
The trio set the stage ablaze amidst the ceremony in 2005. The performance, which is often revisited, began with Aishwarya taking the centre stage. Dressed in a silver outfit, she set the tone for the electrifying performance. Abhishek followed her lead in a black outfit but the biggest surprise was Amitabh joining them on stage. He was seen wearing a suit as he performed with the duo.
The energy of the performance was contagious, with the whole house cheering for them. Rani Mukerji, who was seated in the audience with Yash Chopra and Pam Chopra, was seen clapping and cheering for the trio. The camera also spotted Rekha, who appeared to be enjoying the performance. Towards the end of the performance, Abhishek got off the stage, danced a little with Rani and headed to Shweta Bachchan. She grooved in her seat and applauded the trio’s performance.
Undoubtedly, it’s one of the best performances in the history of IIFA event.
