Mumbai on high-alert flag terror threat – security tightened
Mumbai has been placed on high-alert following agencies flag terror threat. Security has been tightened.
As per police sources, they have ramped up security arrangements at many religious places and other crowded places in Mumbai after the Haji Ali bomb threat.
Police personnel have also been urged to conduct “mock drills” at religious and crowded places.
The DCPs (Deputy Commissioner Of Police) of the city have also been urged to pay special attention to security arrangements in their respective zones.
Sources also revealed that temples in the city have been issued directives to remain alert and report any suspicious activity as precautionary measures.
On Friday, Police also conducted a mock drill in crowded Crawford Market area, which houses two famous religious sites.
However according to it was a security drill ahead of the festive season.
