News comes to light that actress Neha Dhupia, Director of GoFlo, is all set to collaborate with Anita Lobo to host the inaugural GoFlo Run on December 8, 2024, at MMRDA Grounds, BKC, Mumbai. This event is part of the Her Run Her Rules movement and aimed to address women’s health and well-being apart encouraging discussions on various issues faced by women across India.

The Nova Saki Media Pvt. Ltd. organised all-women’s run intent to assemble around 5,000 participants to promote fitness and encourage open dialogue on various issues women face, including menstrual health.

Registration opens on September 30th and offers three categories: 10 km, 5 km, and 3 km, with options to run or walk. The event kicks-off from MMRDA Grounds in BKC, and the route will traverse the streets of Mumbai.

As per Neha, running has always given her a sense of freedom and connection with others, and that’s what they need to bring to the GoFlo Run. But this run is different and just not all about fitness, but about creating a space where we can talk openly about something so many women face in silence.

Menstrual health is something many have struggled to talk about openly. By coming together for this run, we’re not just challenging that stigma – we’re lifting each other up, creating a community where every woman feels seen, heard, and supported.

This initiative epotimises the essence of Her Run Her Rules, intending to create a supportive community where women can connect and engage with others focused on change and wellness.

A portion of the registration fees will be donated to a partnered NGO, helping to fund initiatives that empower women and improve access to menstrual hygiene products and healthcare.

Neha Dhupia is soon staging a comeback with Roadies as mentor with Rannvijay Singha in the upcoming season of MTV reality show.
