In the midst of ‘Stree 2’ success and ‘Jigra’s debacle at the box-,office Alia Bhatt visited Maddock office.
After a video goes viral, one user wrote- “Please don’t add her in horror universe, she is such an opportunist always trying to snatching others work , she herself bagging roles.
The Vasan Bala’s directorial, Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala produced by Karan Johar,featuring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, proved at the box-office and was also drowned in negativity and vicious trolling. Bala has now deactivated his X account amid the noise and chaos.
And amidst the failure, Alia visited Maddock office that gave the historic Stree 2 and the sleeper success Munjya this year. .
Karan Johar urged people on social media to hear and read entire interviews before making “click bait assumptions”, days after remarks made by Vasan Bala, the director of his latest production “Jigra”, in an interview went viral.
Johar shared an ‘Instagram’ post to dispel rumours of a rift amid him and Bala after the producer sent a “roughly drafted” script of the film to lead star Alia Bhatt without telling him.
Both Bala’s tone and comments were misinterpreted on social media, he said.
Meanwhile, the producer said Bala continues to be one of his “most talented and wonderful” collaborators.
