Vineet Kumar Camera assistant dies of electrocution on Anupamaa set
It’s not for the very first time we are hearing of the death of a crew member of a TV project.
Such incidents have happened earlier also, but, authorities concerned have turned Nelson’s eyes to it.
On Saturday, 32-year old Vineet Kumar, a camera assistant lost his life due to electrocution on the set of a shoot of TV project
‘Anupamaa’.
Television Body has come down heavily on the tragedy and have slammed the production house for their silence in the matter.
B.N.Tiwari President of FWICE has also condemned the tragic incident and have pulled up the production house for not following safety measures. All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) Suresh Gupta has condemned the production house’s silence and demanded an investigation and compensation.
Though Vineet was rushed to nearby hospital passed away under treatment.
The production house behind the show, Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Productions, has yet to release an official statement regarding the tragedy.
