News comes to light that after wrapping up shoot for the AR Murugadoss directorial “Sikandar”, Salman Khan will collaborate with Rajinikanth for Atlee’s next directorial.
The untitled project, reportedly an action movie, would mark the first on-screen collaboration between the two superstars.
It’s learnt that Atlee who had helmed the super hit Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ director Atlee is said to be aiming for this mega casting coup.
As per sources, the producers, Sun Pictures, share a strong bond with Rajinikanth and are confident about getting both actors on board.
Reportedly, Salman Khan has been in touch with Atlee for two years, and discussions are moving forward positively. A meeting between the stars and the filmmakers is scheduled for next month, with hopes of finalizing the film by the end of the year.
Salman Khan is expected to begin work on this project after completing his current commitments, including the shoot of Sikandar. Similarly, Rajinikanth plans to take up the film after wrapping up his upcoming movie, Coolie.
According to insiders, this pairing is set to create an unforgettable cinematic experience for audiences.
