Film “Eeshwar” clocks 36 years of its release Anil Kapoor celebrates
Anil Kapoor starrer and K Vishwanath directorial ‘Eashwar’ released in 1989 clocks 36 years and generated critical acclamation.
Anil Kapoor, acknowledged for his versatility and blockbuster films, has recently taken down a memory lane. Notably he.celebrated the special occasion with a heartfelt tribute and revisited some of the memories of the films that remained the highlight of his career.
Taking to his Instagram Stories Anil Kapoor shared a collage of snapshots from the film. Alongside the photos, the actor wrote in the caption, he was just 31 when he played nìoʻa 71-year-old man in Eeshwar. As an actor portraying a character who ages from 25 to 75 made him fearless. After that, he never hesitated to take on older roles-whether it was Lamhe or many other films that followed. Sometimes, as an actor, you have to take risks, step out of your comfort zone, and trust the journey.”
The actor expressed his gratitude towards the makers of the film and continued in the caption, “Working under the maestro K. Vishwanath ji-Dadasaheb Phalke Award winner and a true genius- it was an experience Anil always cherish. His guidance taught him .invaluable lessons, and the memories of Eeshwar remain close to his. heart even today and was the Hindi adaptation of Vishwanath’s Telugu cult classic Swathi Muthyam. Anil Kapoor stepped out of the comfort zone and played an older character. His transformation was widely praised by audiences and critics alike.
