Recently over a media interaction, Sara Ali Khan revealed on growing up amid different religions.
Sara who was last seen in the film Sky Force, has been very open about her love for religious sites like Kedarnath as she often posts about her travels to the holy temple on her social media.

Sara vocaled that she has learnt to tune out the noise. And added
in IPL 2025 she was quite young when her mother taught her to identify herself as an Indian, instead of associating herself with a religion or caste.
At the Now Summit 2025, Sara articulated that she was very young, schooling, and even when her parents were married and used to immigrate together abroad, she used to always wonder.
For those unversed, Sara is the daughter of actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan.
When asked about her mother’s Sikh background, and her father’s Muslim religion, Sara recalled that India is a secular country and we are a secular nation and that all these concepts, all these boundaries are made and manipulated by people and he doesn’t adhere to them. He doesn’t give it the importance that the other person maybe does.
Adding that while the trolls bother her, she has learnt to tune out the negativity. “It’s a fool’s errand to change the way other people think. we need to tune it.
