Raveena Tandon slams astrologer’s ‘false claims’ on social media
Reportedly, Raveena Tandon has strongly objected to a published article that claimed that her daughter, Rasha Thadani, had received astrological guidance from Vedic astrologer Pradeep Bhanot.
Taking to her X post Raveena called out the astrologer for disseminating misinformation and linking their names with baseless predictions.
She wrote ”Dear Sir, thank you for the free advice in this article. Even though I strongly respect our Vedic sciences, please stop false claims of advising us on anything. Neither has my daughter nor I ever met or spoken to you,” Tandon stated. ”We object to this publicity to mislead people.
Her tweet came in response to an article that described Bhanot as a renowned Vedic astrologer who has provided insights into Rasha Thadani’s birth chart. The article with the header ”Helping Bollywood like Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha with Vedic Astrology and Vastu,’’ claimed that Rasha’s astrological alignment forecasted future stardom and creative brilliance.
Actor denies any link with the astrologer
Tandon, on the other hand, made it clear that there had been no interaction between Bhanot, directly or indirectly, and accused him of fabrication. Her strong reaction has triggered conversations on the frequent and unauthorised use of celebrity names in articles for promoting fake news and products.
The article has also stated that Bhanot is a go-to advisor for many in the film industry, claiming he has assisted stars in selecting project dates and in making important career decisions.
Raveens’s social media post generated a lot of reactions online, with many showing support for her decision to call out the misinformation. One user wrote, ”Well said. Truth matters more than attention. Thank you for clarifying.” Another user, however, had a different stance, stating, ”I don’t think he meant that you went to him for predictions. It is a prediction he is making on his own based on what he knows of your daughter’s horoscope I guess. The headline though is definitely misleading.”
