Amidst the emergence of multi-starrer trend Sunny Deol affirms it isn’t just over assembling a big star cast.

Following the fallout of the 1993 released cult thriller “Darr” Sunny Deol expresses his wish to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan. 1993 cult thriller Darr.

While the film has found its way back to theatres in a recent re-release, the buzz around it hasn’t faded and neither has the curiosity about a potential reunion between its two male leads.

In a recent media interaction, Sunny when asked which actor he would like to share screen space with in a two-hero film. Without mincing words revealed hesitation, he said, he wishes to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan with whom he had done one film.

Reflecting on the time that has passed since their last collaboration, Sunny added, “It would be nice because that was a different period, and now it’s a different period, so definitely.”

He also pointed out how filmmaking has evolved over the years. Earlier directors had control over the whole thing. As of today, our directors have no control and there has been no story which will justify the images of the actors. This is very necessary he added.

The Jaat actor went on to explain that cinema trends are cyclical. “Definitely it’s interesting and there is a period for everything.
