Ram Charan-Nikhil’s ‘The India House’ set
A major accident occured on the set of Tollywood star Ram Charan’s latest production, ‘The India House”, featuring popular actor Nikhil in a lead role.
It has left an assistant cinematographer and a few others severely injured. The injured technicians have been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad, where they are undergoing treatment.
Latest update reveals mishap occurred while The India House’s unit was shooting for a major sequence involving several gallons of water. A massive water tank, set up near the Shamshabad area to film ocean scenes for the movie, reportedly burst, leading to a flash flood-like situation in the entire location. A video of the film’s crew trying to protect the camera and other equipment even as the water floods the entire shooting floor is going viral on social media.
“The India House” features Bollywood starter Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead.
The film is being directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna and co-produced by Vikram Reddy and Abhishek Agrawal. Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher essays a key role in this pre-independence drama.
