Guwahati-Chennai IndiGo flight diverted to Bengaluru-insufficient fuel
Following the Air India Dreamliner crash in Ahmedabad, Flight disruptions are escalating and air passengers are facing turbulent time.
Apart from Air India there are disruptions of other flights too.
An IndiGo Guwahati-Chennai lands in Bengaluru owing to low fuel. It is learned that as the flight was making its entry to Chennai airspace rerouted to Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru (BLR) because of low fuel levels.
However, the flight data showed that flight 6E6764 was scheduled to arrive in Chennai at 7:45 pm.
Meanwhile, IndiGo has not released an official statement regarding the incident yet.
On Thursday morning, .a similar incident was reported when an IndiGo flight (6E 2006) bound for Leh from Delhi was diverted back to Indira Gandhi International Airport on due to a technical issue. The Airbus A320-251N, which took off at 6:30 am, airturned after the crew faced operational restrictions preventing a safe landing in Leh.
Earlier, on Wednesday, another IndiGo flight, 6E 6313, from Delhi to Raipur faced a delay in opening its aircraft door upon arrival due to a minor technical issue.
