Amitabh Bachchan spends entire day aboard Indian War Ship
Bollywood Legend Amitabh Bachchan who recently spent an entire day aboard an Indian Navy warship, said that the experience left him moved, humbled, and deeply reflective.
On social media,
the 81-year-old actor shared glimpses of his visit, calling it “an experience of a lifetime.”
Taking toX (formerly Twitter), he posted:
“T 5457 – An experience of a lifetime – an entire day spent on an Indian Navy Destroyer… pride, and honour for our fighting forces.” The Senior actor was visibly awed by the discipline, power, and silent sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces.
Taking to his blog he shared heartfelt thoughts alongside images from his visit, revealing how the experience offered him a rare insight into the life of our naval personnel.
He wrote “You hear about the strength of our Forces… you discover and learn the armoured vessels that fight, so you and I can get a peaceful sleep.”
Amitabh Bachchan’s words echoed the deep sense of respect he gained for the dedication and grit of the men and women in uniform. He went on to pen that “You marvel at the dedication and will of our fighting men and women… and you come back to the comfort of your home, while they continue their incredible effort to bring us our safety.”
