For over 30 years, the iconic character of ‘Prem’ has been synonymous with actor Salman Khan in all of director Sooraj Barjatya’s films. From ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ to ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, Khan’s portrayal of the quintessential family hero has become an inseparable part of Rajshri Productions’ legacy.

Now, in a major shift, Barjatya is set to introduce a new face to the iconic role, casting Ayushmann Khurrana in his upcoming film, ‘Prem Ki Shaadi

As per media reports Ayushmann Khurrana, currently filming ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’, is scheduled to begin shoot for ‘Prem Ki Shaadi’ in October.
The film is based on a brand-new script, distinct from a previous project Barjatya had discussed with Salman Khan.
