Amitabh Bachchan gives shout-out to Anurag Kashyap’s Nishaanchi

Makers of the Anurag Kashyap’s directorial film Nishaanchi, dropped its much-awaited trailer on Wednesday. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan took to X to give a shout-out to the film and shared the trailer and wrote, “All my good wishes.”

The film features Aaishvary Thackeray and Vedika Pinto in the lead role. The trailer was loved by legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan who gave a shout-out to the film.

Notably, the trailer of Nishaanchi ensures that the movie will be a perfect desi masala entertainer in which Bala Saheb Thackeray’s grandson, Aaishvary Thackeray, makes his debut with the film, and looks very confident in the trailer. The actor will be seen in a dual role in the movie. Even the female lead, Vedika Pinto, looks very impressive. Besides Aaishvary and Vedika, the movie also features Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Kumud Mishra. While talking about the cast, Kashyap stated, “Aaishvary, Vedika, Monika, Zeeshan, Kumud and every single actor in the film didn’t just act, but, . lived and breathed the characters. Their commitment to the story and the authenticity of their performances sparkles in the film.

Further while talking about the movie, the filmmaker said, “Nishaanchi is a story he has carried with him for years and it’s his most cinematic film with a classic story at its center involving emotion, betrayal, action – everything. He grew up loving Hindi films. Working with Amazon MGM Studios India has been extremely fruitful as they completely trusted him.
Nishaanchi releases on September 19, 2025. The trailer surely reminded the makers of the Gangs Of Wasseypur franchise, so the expectations from the film are quite high.
