Mumbai rains play
kill-joy as office-goers endure the rain in Bandra East
As the city contends with Mumbai rains, another spell on Monday 22, made office-goers their lives difficult while commuting to work in the morning.
Reportedly, from Sunday evening, the city has been a witness to heavy rains that spilled over into Monday making life difficult for office-goers.
The day started with heavy rain in certain parts of the city including Bandra East, where Bandra Kurla Complex, (BKC) the business district of Mumbai is situated, and saw a large number of office-goers.
On yet another Monday, many office-goers coming from different parts of the city had to deal with the rain. While some had carried their umbrellas, others hadn’t expected it to be this troublesome.
It got even more challenging for many who travel by public transport as they had to wait in queue for the buses and find their auto-rickshaws while dealing with the rain because there is no shed for cover
It was no different for other parts of the city, as parents with school children, and other Mumbaikars went about their day amid the pouring rain
As per India Meteorological Department, (IMD) the city and its suburbs are expected to witness a partly cloudy sky on Tuesday with the possibility of moderate rainfall
