Notably, Rishab Shetty’s epic mythological action directorial film Kantara Chapter 1, running successfully set to enter its fourth week, is now inching towards reaching 800 Cr in worldwide gross.
A proud moment for the Indian Entertainment Industry that the movie is now set for its release in English and emerges as the first Indian film to have an English-dubbed version.
The English version, set to release on the 31st of this month(October), is expected to further boost its box office numbers.
Interestingly, the makers shortened the runtime to 2 hours and 14 minutes to better engage overseas audiences with a crisper, more concise experience.
Generally, Indian films are released overseas in regional languages. But for the first time, an Indian movie is getting an official English release.
Hombale Films produced film.Kantara Chapter 1 recently crossed the 100 Cr mark in the Telugu states alone.
In North America, this Rishab Shetty directorial is inching toward the $5 million mark.
