Sunny Deol visits INS VIKRANT afore Border 2 release

In the lead to Border 2’s release, Sunny Deol visited INS Vikrant and shared a moment of pride with the Indian Navy officers, expressing his intense love for the country and
making the patriotic connection afore the
much-awaited film’s release on January 23

Taking to his Instagram Sunny posted a selfie with Indian Navy officers aboard INS Vikrant. Dressed in a green shirt, dark green trousers and a black turban, the Gadar actor was seen standing against a stunning sea backdrop.

Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Hindustan Meri JaanMeri AanMeri ShaanHindustan. Pride. Honour. Bravery! INSVikrant IndianNavy.

Sunny Deol’s association with Border traces to the original 1997 film, which went on to emerge as one of Indian cinema’s most iconic war dramas. Amidst the recent song launch of Ghar Kab Aaoge from Border 2, Sunny revealed that his decision to do Border was inspired by his father, legendary actor Dharmendra.
Speaking to the media, he said, “he did ‘Border’ because when he saw his father’s film ‘Haqeeqat’ and liked it a lot. At that time around he was very young. When he turned actor, he decided that he would also do a film like his father”.
Along with Sunny Deol, Border 2 also features Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in key roles. Varun Dhawan will essays the role of Param Vir Chakra awardee Hoshiar Singh. Recently, Varun met Hoshiar Singh’s family and shared moments from the meeting on social media. He wrote, “intensely honoured to meet PVC Hoshiar Singh Dahiya’s wife Smt. Dhano Devi ji and his son Colonel Sushil Kumar Dahiya, receiving their blessings to carry forward the legacy of PVC Hoshiar Singh Dahiya is an incredible honour. He is truly and deeply grateful.
