Chiranjeevi Balakrishna, Nagarjuna Venkatesh to clash on Sankranti 2027

Hindu festival Makara Sankranthi is considered an auspicious day. Anything done on this day proves a success.

Now it’s learned that films of legendary actor Chiranjeevi Balakrishn Venkatesh and Nagarjuna are scheduled for the Makar Sankranti 2027
It will be a clash of the films of the Titans.This is subject to plans materializing and it would be a rare
multi-star box office battle in Tollywood.

The first major confirmation has come from Nagarjuna announcing the sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana for release on January 15, 2027. The date announcement has already drawn strong trade attention toward the festival slot.
Venkatesh also plans a festival release with director Anil Ravipudi. The project is in progress, with an official release date announcement expected shortly. Fahadh Faasil is reportedly being considered for a key role.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is committed to a film with director Bobby, and Balakrishna is teaming up again with Gopichand Malineni. As per Industry buzz both projects are targeting the Sankranthi frame, though dates are yet to be finalised.
Sharwanand has already announced plans to release his next film during Sankranthi, and trade talk points to a few more medium-budget films joining the lineup.
If these release plans hold, Sankranthi 2027 could go down as a historic festive frame, potentially marking the first time Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna all clash at the box office in the same release window.
