Amitabh shares behind-the-scenes photo from
set of Kalki AD sequel
Amitabh Bachchan has shared behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos from the set of the Kalki 2898 AD sequel in Hyderabad, highlighting his transformation into Ashwatthama and a reunion with co-star Kamal Haasan. The images, posted on social media, feature his detailed prosthetic look and moments from the shoot, with the senior Bachchan expressing excitement on collaborating with Haasan again.
The actor currently shot for the second part of the Nag Ashwin-directed dystopian blockbuster in Hyderabad.
The senior Bachchan showcased working with Kamal Haasan for the first time since the 1985 released film Geraftaar.
The photos showed his long, detailed makeup sessions and a hug with Kamal Haasan, with other images showing him on a wire rig.
Notwithstanding shooting, Bachchan mentioned the crowds that gathered outside his home, apologizing for missing his weekly, in-person greeting.
The film, which also features Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, has been highly successful, with the sequel continuing the story of the character Ashwatthama.
The senior Bachchan also posted images of his transformation into his character Ashwatthama and himself hugging Kamal Haasan. He expressed his joy at working with Kamal again amidst this production.
