YRF locks Alpha release 10 July 2026
Yash Raj Films (YRF) has officially confirmed that the high-octane action thriller Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, will be released in theaters on July 10, 2026.
Headlined by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, the film features Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. It is directed by Shiv Rawail (known for The Railway Men).
Alpha is a crucial part of the YRF Spy Universe, marking the first female-led spy movie in the franchise.
Production Notes: The film was previously slated for an earlier release (December 2025/April 2026) but was delayed to ensure high-quality post-production and VFX work.
The release date was revealed alongside a new poster featuring a bruised and intense look of Alia Bhatt.
The movie is described as a “relentless action thriller” with a “brutal showdown” expected between the leads and Bobby Deol.
